The Belshina Bel-57 tire is a solution that breaks this vicious circle. The key idea is to work with radically reduced internal pressure. However, this is not just a "deflated tire". It is a complete system: a specially elastic carcass made of special synthetic cords and a flexible, compliant compound. Together, they form an "intelligent shell" that, when the pressure is reduced, does not deform chaotically, but predictably increases and optimizes the contact patch. The result: the pressure on the soil is distributed over the maximum area, minimizing the depth of the rut and compaction of the subsoil.
The optimized, wide tread profile, combined with a flexible carcass, allows the tire to "hug" the ground irregularities, rather than pushing into them. The contact patch becomes not only larger, but also more even. This is critically important for preventing local over-compaction and providing stable support for heavy equipment on unstable ground. The diagonal blocks with large distances between them also play a significant role in improving the efficiency of the traction properties.
Instead of a traditional wear-resistant but rigid compound, a special rubber mixture with a high content of plasticizers is used here. Its task is to maintain flexibility and adhesion in conditions of high humidity and low temperatures, providing maximum grip with soil particles.
