The Alliance 846 model is designed to equip tractors used in agriculture. The main goal was to combine reliable grip with preservation of the fertile layer structure. This was achieved through a differentiated tread pattern architecture.
Dual lug geometry
The model features a variable angle of block structures. The central zone has a fixed high angle, which provides minimal vibration during transport and ensures even wear, extending the tread life. The shoulder zone has a more gradual angle at the edges, increasing the contact area during lateral loads and turns.
Physics of the contact patch
The main advantage of the model is the maximally increased contact area while maintaining the tread depth. By optimizing the stiffness of the carcass, it was possible to achieve a low-pressure effect on the ground without losing carrying capacity.
The anti-friction pads between the lugs deserve special attention. These are stiffness elements that prevent raw earth from sticking to the tread. The tyre self-cleans, maintaining the efficiency of the grip.
Elatomers against tears
Here, the rubber compound recipe has been revised. Reinforced polymer bonds have been introduced into its composition, which work as shock absorbers for the lug base. The technical effect is a reduced risk of "tearing" blocks during extreme torque.
