Description Aeolus AF60
The Aeolus AF60 model is a pneumatic tyre designed to industrial standard R, created for hybrid conditions where powerful tractors operate. The main task of the engineers was to ensure that the tyre feels confident both when manoeuvring with a full load on solid ground and when entering loose material without losing traction.
Tread pattern structure
The basis of the design is a deep tread with massive, elongated blocks that almost merge into a solid rib in the central zone. This is a functional element that performs two key tasks:
- improves steering accuracy – the "rib" in the centre provides stable straight-line driving and instant feedback when turning the wheel, reducing play and lateral deviations;
- serves as a wear-resistant base – when driving on asphalt, this element takes on the main contact, preventing uneven wear of the side lugs.
The side blocks, in turn, are bevelled at an angle optimal for gripping soft ground. At the same time, the distance between them is specially increased. This creates natural evacuation channels, thanks to which dirt, sand, and small gravel are instantly ejected from the contact patch.
Multi-layer protection against punctures
The engineers have incorporated a high-strength frame made of several layers of synthetic cord into the base. This provides three critical advantages:
- load capacity – the tyre withstands extreme vertical loads;
- resistance to punctures and cuts;
- minimization of deformations – the frame maintains its geometry even during prolonged cycles with a full load.
Additionally, the tread layer is reinforced. A special rubber compound with increased resistance to abrasion and chipping is applied here. It is developed based on polymers with high molecular weight, which provide elasticity at low temperatures and hardness when heated.
Key features of the Aeolus AF60 model:
- industrial tyre for heavy tractor equipment used in various fields;
- deep tread pattern with increased lug height for improved traction;
- almost solid "rib" in the middle zone provides directional stability and steering accuracy on solid surfaces;
- increased inter-block gaps ensure effective evacuation of dirt, sand, and gravel;
- reinforced tread layer made of a special compound resistant to chipping, cuts, and abrasive wear.
