Continental Tractor 85 — a specialized model designed for powerful tractor equipment operating on dirt, clay, and marshy surfaces. The tire is designed with a priority on traction force, self-cleaning, and puncture resistance.
Traction and Self-Cleaning Mechanics
Massive tread lugs are formed in a V-shaped pattern — it's not just a design, but a proven geometry. When moving forward, the blocks throw dirt, liquid soil, and snow to the sides, rather than packing it into the inter-block gaps. Thanks to the large distances between the block elements, a self-cleaning effect is achieved — the tread remains open even on heavy clay and wet black soil. The result:
- stable traction without wheel slip when starting from a standstill;
- less dirt accumulation on the wheel;
higher efficiency when moving in reverse.
Resistance to Cuts and Punctures
In the production of the tread, an elastic but mechanically strong compound based on natural rubber with the addition of special polymers that increase resistance to tears and cuts is used. The company's engineers have found a balance between hardness and elasticity, thanks to which:
- when driving over a sharp object, the rubber does not cut, but deforms and restores its shape;
- the risk of a through puncture and rupture of the carcass is reduced by 2-3 times compared to budget analogs;
- the service life is increased, which makes the tire economically justified for intensive commercial use.
Key Features of Continental Tractor 85:
- operation on a wide range of tractor equipment;
- special elastic compound with high resistance to mechanical damage;
- massive V-shaped tread lugs provide maximum traction on dirt without wheel slip;
- large inter-block gaps and diagonal block arrangement effectively throw dirt, maintaining traction even on soft ground;
- durability of the compound and the possibility of repeated restoration.
