Aplus 111 Asteroid+ features a wide tread with large transverse elements. Their central sections have nearly straight outlines, while the side parts are arranged at an angle. The repetition of these elements around the circumference creates a tread pattern with pronounced chevron geometry.
Massive tread elements
The tread consists of wide rubber sections separated by transverse grooves. In the center, the element contours have stepped transitions. On both sides of this zone, they extend toward the shoulders of the tire, forming long slanted edges. Thus, the pattern combines transverse central and diagonally positioned lateral sections.
Open grooves
The spaces between adjacent elements run from the center of the tread to its edges. In the shoulder areas, the grooves are open, and the shoulder blocks themselves have a rounded outer profile. The pattern maintains large supporting surfaces across the entire tread width, without breaking into numerous small blocks.
